Bobby Fischer ... Yet another Self-Hating Jew

Yet another self hating Jew has surfaced and his name: Bobby Fischer. Bobby was the first American world chess champion, attaining the title in 1972 after defeating Boris Spassky of the USSR. He later forfeited his title in 1975. Recently he was detained by the Japanese authorities on passport violations. However, it has also been rumored that Bobby Fischer isn’t too fond of Jewish people. In one instance he has claimed that Jews are "thieving, lying bastards". With regards to the September 11 attacks Fischer has stated that, "This is all wonderful news ... I applaud the act. The U.S. and Israel have been slaughtering the Palestinians, just slaughtering them for years. Robbing them and slaughtering them. Nobody gave a shit. Now it's coming back to the U.S. Fuck the U.S. I want to see the U.S. wiped out." A little less tactful, but in essence one of Chomsky’s screeds. However, his hatred for America seems to be rooted in his hatred for Jews, for he has also declared who his real enemies are, "Jews, secret Jews, or CIA rats who work for the Jews." And on top of all this his mother was Jewish. I think the phrase self-hating would be too generous for this guy.

Gotcha ... Norman Finkelstein!

What Norman Finkelstein said:

[Benny] Morris has indisputably produced landmark studies ... Morris has tapped a wealth of archival material which no serious student of Israeli-Palestinian conflict can afford to ignore. In fact Morris’s research will serve as the bench mark for all future scholarship on the topic. Norman Finkelstein, Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict, page 86-87, emphasis mine
What Benny Morris has said:
"[W]hen writing The Birth of the Palestinian Refugee Problem 1947-1949 in the mid-1980s, I had no access to the materials in the IDFA [IDF Archive] or the Haganah Archive and precious little to first-hand military materials deposited elsewhere. Nonetheless, the new materials I have seen over the past few years tend to confirm and reinforce the major lines of description and analysis, and the conclusions, in The Birth and in a subsequent volume, 1948 and After, published in 1990 ... [S]ome of the material relating to the [Palestinian exodus] may have been open to researchers in the early and mid-1980s, when The Birth was written, but I was not then aware of its existence." Benny Morris, The War for Palestine: Rewriting History of 1948 As quoted in Middle East Quarterly emphasis mine.
Also as Professor Efraim Karsh points out:
Morris inadvertently reveals the falsehood of "new historian" scholarly pretensions. This group insists on tracing its origin, indeed its raison d’être, to the opening of Israeli state archives in the late 1980s but now its foremost member admits to having written the single most influential "revisionist" work without the use of the most important archives ... Morris made no use of [some of] the Israeli archives due to his own ignorance.
So this is how Norman Finkelstein thinks landmark research in archival material is done.

Meet Chomsky's Foil

Another Chomsky clone has surfaced although this one seems to be part of the far right. Her name: Patricia Richardson. Just like Chomsky she believes that Holocaust denial is not anti-Semetic, go figure. Here is how the Jerusalem Report put it:

It's disconcerting to hear Yiddish -- the language her Transylvanian-born immigrant grandparents preferred to English -- trip so lightly off the tongue of someone who represents a party rife with religious prejudice and theories of Jewish world domination. But to Richardson, who won her seat in the June 10 local elections in the Epping Forest district of Northeast London, it's not at all meshuga. "There is no anti-Semitism within the party," she insists, speaking to The Report by phone from her family home in Loughton, Essex. Richardson insists the BNP has moved on since it evolved out of the neo-Nazi National Front in the early 1980s, and now boasts a benign manifesto based simply on stronger law and order, freedom of speech, total withdrawal from the European Union, and an end to all immigration. Her membership makes perfect sense, she says, "because Jewish people who are British and have lived here for all their lives are in as much danger from all the PC, the overt Europeanizing, as anybody else."

That's not a view shared by the majority of the community, who regard the changes within the BNP, its leadership littered with convicted race-hate criminals, as purely cosmetic. "It is still an extremist and racist party," says Neville Nagler, director general of the Board of Deputies, the representative body of U.K. Jewry. He describes the community as "disgusted" with Richardson.

Just goes to show it's not only the loony left that produces self hating Jews.
